Mercy Thompson: Moon Called by Patricia Briggs

71811A mechanic, werewolf and vampire work together to fight mystical creatures. Through many battles, Mercy Thompson: Moon Called, tells the story of Mercy Thompson and Adam Hauptman learning to love each other for who they are. The thing that makes Mercy Thompson: Moon Called unique is how captivating it is. You wouldn’t expect these things to happen to her. Be open-minded and gentle with some topics that are discussed in the book. It will take you on a journey but make sure to enjoy it most of all. I would give Mercy Thompson: Moon Called 5 out of 5 stars. You should read this book if you like mystery and drama.

Children of the lamp by P.B Kerr

9780786272990_p0_v1_s260x420Normal kids wake up one morning with the power to grant wishes. John and Philippa Gaunt are twin brother and sister, they wake up one morning with wisdom teeth. They soon find out they are Dinjinn (gennies). Children of the lamp reminds of 39 Clues. What makes this book unique is that it takes you on an adventure that you never even dreamed of. Be open-minded to the new ideas in this book. I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars. You should read this book if you like adventure.

Extraordinary by Miram Spitzer Franklin

23130145This book will make you laugh and cry at the adventures in this book. In this book a young girl has an illness and her best friend does everything she can to help her, since she can’t speak or walk, she is doing everything she can to help her including counting down until her surgery day. This book reminds me of ”Thirteen Reasons Why”,because one friend cares for the other friend so much that they fight for that friend until the end. The thing that makes this book unique is that the girls friend does everything for her and goes out of her way until the day of her surgery. At first it was a little sad, but then started to be understanding and excited. I would give this book a 4.5 out of five stars. You should read this book if you like books with fantastic best friends and who love each other no matter the challenges they go throw.

Naruto by Kishimoto

Recommended by Julian J

“I’ll never give up, that’s my ninja way….I’ll never die until I become a hokage.” Naruto was born to Kushina Uzimaki and Minato Namizaki. Naruto’s father is the 4th hokage legendarilaa18ee10a2d5f3a01064fd9832a60c53y and the fastest ninja alive. His mother had the nine tails and passed it on to Naruto. Naruto reminds of dragonball because of how they would fight for the people they love and ones that cannot fight themselves. They also want to reach their goals like when Naruto wanted Sasuke to come to the village and be good, and Goku wanted Vegeta to be good. This book stands out because sometimes people would act like Naruto because the way he acts. Naruto would sacrifice his life for his friends, and it encourage other people help other s who are getting bullied. It would be helpful to my reader because it would encourage them to do anything they want. They would never give up, and always willing to help anybody who’s hurt. I would give this a 5 out of 5 and I think people all over the world should rea
d this.

Keesha’s House by Helen Frost

Recommended by Ashyrha D91vwquqpzyl

A warm welcoming environment where no matter what you have been through or what your sexuality is you are accepted to be who you were made to be. At Joe”s, Keesha has found a safe place to live, and other kids gravitate to her house when they just can’t make it on their own. This book reminds me of real life because the book brings real life situations into reality. The thing that makes it stand out is the way in which it is written and it doesn’t just focus on one character. You have to read it until the end because the ending is always the best part. I would give Keesha’s House a 5 out of 5 stars. You should read this book because not many books lately have told you about life as a teenager in high school and what we go through in life.

Kindness For Weakness by Shawn Goodman

kindness-for-weakness-shawn-goodman-book-coverThe title was the hook ” kindness For Weakness because it related to the story about the delinquent little boy. It is about a juvenile detention delinquent kid who’s always in trouble. The boy’s mom has a abusive boyfriend who drinks a lot. A brother name Louis who moved out because boyfriend. I could compare this book with a move and real life experiences. What make this book stand out is the cover of the book and what the book is about. When you look at the cover it look like the book is about something else. I would prefer anyone who wants to read this book read all the way through it would be inspiring. I would rate this book 4 out 5 stars. You should read this book if you like movies and real life experiences.
