The book is about a girl name Jade and her friend is getting into a argument because her friend was cool with someone that she don’t like. This book seem realistic because I know people that been in the situation. The book stands out because it’s a popular series and most people relate to it. If you have problems with school, relationships, etc. You can relate to this book. This book is about three girls going through teenager problems. TTYL reminds me of ” My evil sister” because that book was about some girl going through some weird teenager stuff. The thing that makes TTYL stand out, is how the things that that happen in the book are happening everyday now. I thought that TTYL started out strong with the excitement of school first starting, and expect lots of boy problems. I would give this TTYL 4 out of 5 stars. You should read this book if you like teen drama.

How much do you use your cellphone? Is it always in your hand? If so, have you ever thought about addiction to your cellphone?
A girl named Daria had to move hundreds of miles away from her hometown because her parents got a better job. Since she just moved to Calgary she is very dependent on her cellphone to stay in contact with her old friends. Her family and new friend Cleo think its more like an addiction. Daria doesn’t think so and because of it she puts a life in danger.
Disconnect reminds me of real life because so many people, especially teenagers, are actually addicted to their cellphones and fail to admit or realize it.
What makes Disconnect unique is this is the only book that I have come across that addresses addiction to cellphones and how it can put not only you but others in danger. My advice is to keep reading the book because in the beginning it starts off boring and you may not really understand what’s going on, but it all comes together and once you take time to analyze or think about it it’ll all make sense. I would give Disconnect 4 out of 5 stars. You should read this book if you may think you’re addicted to your cellphone, or if you like a little mystery, or maybe you just like to analyze and take time to think about what’s going on in the story.

Have you ever been overweight in high school? Unpopular in high school? Imagine that. In this book the main character, Butter, was an unpopular overweight high school kid with no friends. Butter believes he has nothing else to live for so one night he creates a website and announces his plan to eat himself to death live on the Internet! He gets an unexpected reaction: he begins to gain popularity at school and the popular kids invite him to school events and out for Saturdays nights. It felt good to finally have “friends,” so good he started to not want to kill himself, the thing that gained him popularity in the first place. He starts to think, if he didn’t do it would he still be popular or would he go back to the nobody he was before? This book reminds me of The Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Greg has problems with fitting in and so does Butter. One thing that’s unique about this book is that it is about a boy wanting to kill himself because he is unpopular but in a twist it is also very funny. You would expect him to be sad every moment but he had more funny moments then you would think. When you start reading this book you won’t want to put it down; it’s a real page turner. I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars. If you like books that make you laugh, cry, and have you on the edge of your seat this would be the book for you.

Juice is a really good book to read if you like football sports. Juice is about a high school football team losing most of their games. They come back to play for the championship until something happens. This high school team relates to the LFLA football team. We almost lost all of our games in the season, and to let the players get along with each other. This book is unique because although the team is losing they still fight hard until its over. This book shows strength, emotion, fury and smartness. I would prefer authors to read this book because it can describe how your life was in high school.

Friday Night Lights is a great book. If you’re into high school football and drama this book is for you. The book is about a high school football team in Texas that goes through some things during their football season. One of the things they go through is one of the players not getting good grades in school. You have to like reading; the book is not that small and has a lot of details but leads to fun exciting reading.
