A mechanic, werewolf and vampire work together to fight mystical creatures. Through many battles, Mercy Thompson: Moon Called, tells the story of Mercy Thompson and Adam Hauptman learning to love each other for who they are. The thing that makes Mercy Thompson: Moon Called unique is how captivating it is. You wouldn’t expect these things to happen to her. Be open-minded and gentle with some topics that are discussed in the book. It will take you on a journey but make sure to enjoy it most of all. I would give Mercy Thompson: Moon Called 5 out of 5 stars. You should read this book if you like mystery and drama.

Normal kids wake up one morning with the power to grant wishes. John and Philippa Gaunt are twin brother and sister, they wake up one morning with wisdom teeth. They soon find out they are Dinjinn (gennies). Children of the lamp reminds of 39 Clues. What makes this book unique is that it takes you on an adventure that you never even dreamed of. Be open-minded to the new ideas in this book. I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars. You should read this book if you like adventure.

A story that’ll make you jump with excitement and fear, but most of all curiosity. After Jacob, a young sixteen year old boy, who goes on the hunt for a strange land his grandfather only told him about in fairy tales at bed time. But most of all the motivation comes from the fact his grandfather told him to find it… with his last dying breath. The Light Book by D. J. MacHale, and the reason for this is their similarity in the supernatural horror aspect. There being creatures that only the two can see, both thinking their crazy as well. The thing that makes it stand out for sure is its well done slow pace, while most would fine that boring, normally. This books lets the moment of horror feel real with the suspense of not knowing what is next to come, that is by far what makes it stand out. While it is definitely scary at some moments, it is not fully a horror to me and probably you. But I should also express the direction you’d think it’s going in is far from it, almost disappointingly.. I would give it a 4.1 out of 5, if you like a decent mystery book you should give it a try.

The Mystical land of Prythian is a place where no mortal can step foot without being stuck there forever, at the mercy of the ruthless faeries. Feyre is a poor human girl who is the sole supporter of herself, her two sisters, and her crippled father. She hunts for food since they don’t have money to buy it, and in winter food is scarce. But her whole life changes when she kills a wolf who turns out to be a faerie in disguise and one of the elite high fae come to take her to Prythian as punishment for her crimes. Most YA books with female protagonists, the main character spends half the time fawning over some hot guy and I feel like that really takes away from the character. And. while there is romance, Feyre isn’t much like her fellow female protagonists. She can handle herself and knows when to say no and when to get out of bad relationships. At first the book seems pretty cheesy and melodramatic about seemingly stupid things, but as you read the book and get further into the story, things start to make more sense and it’s not as cheesy and cringy. I would give A Court of Thorns and Roses 4.5 out of 5 stars. You should read this book if you like romance or Sci-Fi books.

I am the person in the dark, I watch over the city, and fight crime, and keep the city safe. The book is about a man that keeps the city safe from evil and villains. They make sure nothing bad happens to the people of the city. Spiderman has the same conflict, only he wears red, and blue while Batman wears black. Batman is unique, and the bad guys are unique as well. You should read Spiderman to start off with. I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars. You should read this book if you like superheroes.

How would you handle being able to see ghosts and spirits? Would you be able to keep a level head about it? Yakumo can; he sees these types of things everyday. He is a college student who is also a detective who seeks to help these spirits and ghosts. This book is just really amazing to see how this person has been living unafraid all his life and moved on to help release them from their bonds to the earth. This book is full of mystery, romance and drama and had me hooked from the beginning. The book kind of reminds me of a show I saw where they also tried to help spirits.

In this first installment of her Immortal series, Alyson Noel snags ahold of the reader’s attention with her amazing ability to to build suspense and curiosity. Dipping into the phenomenon of supernatural abilities, the unknowns of the afterlife, both the limited and unlimited opportunities of immortality, offer a wealth of possible plots to entertain. The Evermore series can be summed up as breath taking, leaving you in shock and making you want to continue reading. This book reminds me of the movie “The Spirit” because they are both about immortality. What’s unique about this book is how she goes into so much detail about immortals and what they have to go through in order for people to not know about their secret. The advice I will give you about this book is do not get lost in the book and don’t get confused with other characters. Out of 5 stars I would give this book 6.
