A mechanic, werewolf and vampire work together to fight mystical creatures. Through many battles, Mercy Thompson: Moon Called, tells the story of Mercy Thompson and Adam Hauptman learning to love each other for who they are. The thing that makes Mercy Thompson: Moon Called unique is how captivating it is. You wouldn’t expect these things to happen to her. Be open-minded and gentle with some topics that are discussed in the book. It will take you on a journey but make sure to enjoy it most of all. I would give Mercy Thompson: Moon Called 5 out of 5 stars. You should read this book if you like mystery and drama.

“Mommy!” Corey cried, his voice high and panicky for the first time. With Basketball action, a murder mystery, a compelling story from history, racial and parental tension, Alphin offers something to please most young readers. Homeboys because it’s very funny and interesting and also an way to explain how some people life is or was. The thing that makes The Perfect Shot stand out is how it is a interesting mystery. You will probably find a book like this but not often because it’s a mystery and sports books. The thing that makes The Perfect Shot was just about someone make an important shot in a game, but it’s really about how this boy is playing basketball because of a bad memory. I would give this book 4 out of 5. You should read this book if you like sports and mystery books.

A story that’ll make you jump with excitement and fear, but most of all curiosity. After Jacob, a young sixteen year old boy, who goes on the hunt for a strange land his grandfather only told him about in fairy tales at bed time. But most of all the motivation comes from the fact his grandfather told him to find it… with his last dying breath. The Light Book by D. J. MacHale, and the reason for this is their similarity in the supernatural horror aspect. There being creatures that only the two can see, both thinking their crazy as well. The thing that makes it stand out for sure is its well done slow pace, while most would fine that boring, normally. This books lets the moment of horror feel real with the suspense of not knowing what is next to come, that is by far what makes it stand out. While it is definitely scary at some moments, it is not fully a horror to me and probably you. But I should also express the direction you’d think it’s going in is far from it, almost disappointingly.. I would give it a 4.1 out of 5, if you like a decent mystery book you should give it a try.

What would you do if you were in the situation of delivering pizza to an unknown area, and got kidnapped? Kayla was called to deliver pizza to an unknown area, but it turned out to be a kidnapping site. Everyone found out it was meant for Gabbie, another worker. The Night She Disappeared reminds me of Amber Alert and CSI because in CSI they helped to find the person dead or alive. It reminds me of Amber Alert because people who are kidnapped are most likely not aware like Kayla. The thing that makes The Night She Disappeared stand out, is how it gives everyone’s point of view and how they feel. Also because it has the time periods. It was very realistic. I think that the beginning was grabbed the most attention, but towards the last few chapters I drew away from the book. It got boring. I would give this book a 3 out of 5 stars. You should read this book if you like mystery. and realistic type things.

” Peter stood up and let a wicked smile slide across his face.”Time to play.”” “The Child Thief” gives a modern twist on the story of Peter Pan. Peter leaves his Neverland to bring back kids to train, and use as weapons for his battle against Captain Hook.”The Child Thief” reminds me of Grimm Fairy Tales because of the dark twist on the well known Disney retelling. The thing that makes The Child Thief stand out is art shown between this Peter Pan and the Disney Peter Pan. To read this book, you would have to give it your full attention because there are a lot of twists and turns thrown at the reader. I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars. You should read this book if you like Fairy tales with a twist.

Revenge is a dish best served cold. That’s how the main character of this book felt when he sought revenge on his wife’s murderer. When a mans wife is murdered for trying to do the right thing he does everything he can to make her murderer pay for what he did. The thing that makes this book different is the way that this man got his revenge, and his determination, and his skills that he acquired. The book may start out a little slow, but once you get into the story line you’ll be very interested. I would give this book a 4 out of 5 stars. You should read this book if you like thrillers and drama.
